The Experienced Motorcycle Course (EC) is a course for individuals who are active riders and want to improve their skills on their personal motorcycle. This course is based on the Motorcycle Safety Foundation’s (MSF) Basic Rider Course 2 – License Waiver. A fully licensed and insured motorcycle is required. The course consists of 2 hours of online independent study, 3 hours of classroom theory, and 5 hours of practical application (i.e. riding). Students must pass both a written and riding assessment, complete the online eCourse, and attend all sessions to receive a completion card.
This course qualifies for the SCDMV waiver process.
Meeting Times:
8 am – 5 pm Approximately two (2) hours of an online eCourse (i.e. home study on your own computer) is also required.
Tuition Range:
$139 - $199
Prerequisites: Potential enrollees will be screened at the beginning of the first range exercise to demonstrate competency in prerequisite skills.
Individuals must have sufficient off-road, parking lot-type or legal on-road experience to perform basic maneuvers or have previously completed a novice riders course.
Students must use their personal, fully licensed and insured motorcycle.
